Pattern: sheep in the city

yep, kinda bored with it, but I'm bored with everything right now. I like the pattern but not the yarn. I'll knit it again in the fall with something else. Manos, Noro, Crystal Palace, or Point Five. Who knows?! sorry I don't have too much to say about this one. I have gotten compliments on it, even at my lys, so if you want a nice scarf I would definately suggest this pattern.

So I started my the scarf for the knitalong. I had a few hiccups at the beginning, like not remembering a certain stitch and then somehow increasing when I didn't want to, but it's going pretty well so far. I like the color Tom chose and the look of the pattern ,it isn't your standard garter stitch scarf.

This is the yarn for my next project-the MSCS knitalong. I'm going to swatch it tonight. It looks like an interesting pattern, though I'm not sure what size needle I'm going to use yet. I was going to pick a pink yarn, but I let Tom choose the color. I don't think it will be half-bad. I got lucky, the yarn was on sale at A.C. Moore. It was my first time buying yarn at a non-yarn-shop and I have to say they had a big knitting department. I may have to drop in again this week and get some more yarn before the sale is up.
