stalled

things have been quiet and stressful around here since this little package was dropped off at my door last week. I've had to go through and make corrections to every pattern. can we all cross our fingers so they make it into the book this time? the scary part is I don't even understand how half the errors I found were introduced into the manuscript in the first place. at least the release date has been pushed back to next fall, so lark has given us enough time to check for everything.
with my nose in this book and working on some side knitting all my sweater knitting has been put on hold. of course this makes my fingers itch for more projects. to satisfy some of my cravings I ordered a copy of Boutique Knits, which totally made it worse.

I'm not usually an "accessories" book person, but this one hit all the right notes for me. each project has a special detail that makes it stand out. I already want to cast on for half the projects, including the cover hat.

the side ways cloche will most likely be the first one I try with some leftover silk road ultra from my cabled hoodie (that I still need to blog about!).

these fingerless gloves are knit with rowan 4 ply, but I see mine knit with a combination of yarntini and shibui sock yarns = heaven.

this hood would be perfect right now, but I need to stash dive for it.
I wish I had pictures of the other projects I want to knit, like the ruffled neck kerchief, whiskey felted cap, and the argyle lace hat. sigh...I should get back to book stuff. I just need to do one more read through tonight and then I can mail it off tomorrow and knit!knit!knit!!
