bread love

I would be blogging about knitting and how I've been clearing out my wip pile but I'm too busy baking to take pics and muster up any witty banter (but really, do I ever have witty banter? .

I too love this bread. I bake the batch in two sections, at slightly reduced times, in a 3Q dutch oven. I find it makes a more rounded, taller loaf.

I thought the bit about the food bloggers' clapotis was funny enough to repeat to my husband. I will call it clapotis bread forever more.

I printed this the other day! I still have to get around to make it though!

Ah, yes - The Bread. Well put too -- food blogger's clapotis -- I've been emailed this recipe several times since the article came out. It's pretty spectacular. I'd say better than clapotis, even!

Oh, lovely. That just looks like it needs some good olive oil to be dipped in.

Mm - looks delish. Reminds me of foccacia with olive oil and rosemary.

Mmm, bread. I got a dutch oven for Christmas specifically for this recipe.

That's hilarious - I've been emailed this bread recipe, and then I forwarded it to my husband and someone else. Yes, we'll all be walking around with dropped-stitches on our necks, munching away on NYT crust.

Oh, I'll have to give this recipe a try. Specially the next time I make my home made chicken noodle soup.

That looks good! It looks like it would make really great Bruschetta too.
