what everyone else is doing

there's been knitting around these parts, but not the let-me-show-you-every-step-on-the-way kind. this image is all you get... for now at least. I promise to show more once I figure out the rest of it, but I'm trying to clear my mind and collect my thoughts on other topics (without being a full on rant). I forget how perfect stockinette is for that.
till then, I'll pretend certain people didn't tag me with memes (we've been meme free for almost a year now, thanks) and instead point you over to bloggers that actually have some knitting.
miss twiss knit herself up aPringle sweater and dubbed it 'knit in chunks'. she's shared her pattern in umm chunks. go figure.
olga's been a knitting machine. I love her camel jacket and her working interpretation of a blumarine jacket.
jenna's cabled yoke pullover makes me want to order that issue of phildar.
kirsty's dyeing always makes me drool, but I MUST have this new 'dark matter' colorway.
maybe I should make this a regular feature, "stuff I wish I was doing" or maybe "everyone's blog is more interesting than mine". I'll work out the specifics but at least I get to trick you into thinking I'm blogging :)

Well, look at what we have here. A blog post AND knitting. It must be my lucky day. The dark matter colorway is gorgeous - that Kirsty is one talented chick. I love the other projects, but I'm afraid I have no more time on the knitting schedule.

I think it would be a great regular feature!

that is the trouble i have with reading blogs, they tempt us with fun new stuff i haven't seen before. then i end up casting on for too many things at once!

This is such a fun read. I miss stockinette. I'm going to start some stockinette as soon as I finish up couple of UFOs. Can't wait to see more of the yummy cashmere goodness.

I'm loving these links! I've never seen these blogs before. I'd like to see this feature again so you can introduce me to more blogs!

A great feature indeed - I learned a few new things from your links. I sure do miss my friend Y though! :)

nah - it's just "inspiration"! I think that is how I get most of my ideas for things to knit - seeing them complete on other peoples blogs!

Well, miss hoity toity meme avoider, I am glad to see some knitting here on your site. That yarn looks so delicious.

Thanks for the links to all of those amazing projects. I feel so boring...

Aahhh . . . The double edged sword of reading blogs. I always see great things that I think I should knit and inspiration is never a bad thing. But then I feel bad that I'm not knitting cooler things right now and I feel like a knitting slacker!
That said, I like the possible feature.

I love your new site. And your Simple Knitted Bodice looks terrific. I always do that "I'll just knit all weekend and finish the >" thing, too. Then life gets in the way. Strange how that happens. Anyway, thanks for a great read!

Thanks for the teaser... i'm so curious to see more!
LInkage to other blogs is a good thing, keeps the ideas flowing. Thanks for sharing.
