I saw these on Flickr, but I just have to comment again! So cool! Thanks for sharing them ;)I love the pyramid one on the bottom row - that is so incredible!
oh man...i've done it again. purly leaves a comment about tom being in china...and you know who i was thinking she was talking about.this obsession has to end!i now can't even remember the comment i originally planned to leave.
I was going to try and be clever and pretend to know things by saying the same thing-ish that Jennifer said, but she beat me to it (although I have absolutely no doubt that she is more clever and knowledgeable than I am).But they are beautiful photos. And your socks are gorgeous and very eatable in colour. If you want to knit in cotton, I suggest using a 4ply rowan/DB. At least here in the UK you can't get an attractive non-wool sock yarn. Although I hear that mohair is supposed to be quite cool in warm weather, but that is from an Ebay seller of mohair yarn from his own animals... Who happens to sell socks made from that yarn... Hmmmm.

Well, red is a very important color in the culture. It's rich with meaning.
